What is flocked iron on?

Flocked iron-ons are a type of heat transfer material that has a raised, fuzzy texture. The flocking material is made of small fibers that are adhered to a backing material, such as a polyester or cotton sheet. The flocking material can come in various colors and designs, allowing for customization and personalization of garments and accessories.

To apply a flocked iron-on to a fabric surface, the design is first cut out from the material with a cutting machine or by hand. The design is then placed onto the fabric with the flocking facing up. A heat press or iron is then used to apply heat and pressure to the design, causing the adhesive on the back of the flocking material to melt and adhere to the fabric.

Flocked iron-ons are best suited for use on cotton, polyester, or blended fabrics. They are durable and long-lasting, and can withstand multiple washings without losing their texture or adhesion. Flocked iron-ons can be used to create custom apparel, tote bags, hats, and more.
